Actiwash Steri Fluid, has been certified as compliant with the disinfecting standards BS EN 1276 and BS EN 13697 at a 1:24 dilution, with 5 minutes contact time. The product is a stabilised, non-tainting solution of sodium hypochlorite, and is manufactured with pure raw materials that are compliant with BS EN 901:2013 and BS 998:1990.


When used on thoroughly cleaned items which can either be fully submersed or can be effectively wetted over the whole surface, Steri-Fluid will chemically sterilise the item if left in contact for the prescribed time.


Use Steri-Fluid only on surfaces that are compatible with hypochlorite and dispensing/ soaking equipment ideally made from plastic.


 


Steri-Fluid is an ideal product to aid facilities involved in food processing  to comply with a HACCP management plan and the Food Standards Agency's Guidance Document 'E. coli O157: Control of Cross Contamination' and particularly used as part 2 (sanitising) during a two-stage cleaning/ disinfection process of food preparation areas. However, this product is very versatile and can be used in many other situations, including disinfection after clean-up of body fluids in the residential  care home setting.


For kitchen disinfection, use on work surfaces, walls, floors, chopping boards, containers, dispensing nozzles and utensils,  applying a 1:125 solution. Leave for 15 minutes contact time, no need to rinse.


For general disinfection in the healthcare setting, use a 1:24 solution. Leave for 5 minutes and rinse. 


For surfaces contaminated with blood and bodily fluids use a 1:4 solution. Leave for 15 minutes and rinse.


NOT SUITABLE FOR SOAKING METAL EQUIPMENT. FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY. ALWAYS USE A FRESH SOLUTION. DISCARD AFTER USE.


The active ingredient has pre-approval under the Biocidal Products Regulations (BPR) (EU 528/2012), to cover Part 2 (Disinfectants and algaecides not intended for direct application to humans or animals) and Part 4 (Food and feed area).
